About the GPAC
The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) is an athletic conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Headquartered in Sioux City, Iowa, it is made up of 12 private colleges and universities across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota, competing in 21 sports. The conference was founded in 1969 as the Nebraska Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and took its current name in 2000.
